The PT57 IP core is sold with a single use, multiple unit license (i.e. you can use it for one project, but sell as many units of that project as you like). The IP core is supplied as RTL compliant Verilog source code for use in all FPGAs or ASICs. There is a one off payment for the IP core with no further payments required. Design-in support is included for 6 months (it can be extended). On-site support is also available.

The PT57 IP core encodes BT656/BT1120 format video into 720p-25Hz/30Hz/50Hz/59Hz/60Hz and 1080p-25Hz/29Hz/30Hz aCVi® standards.

In addition, the PT57 supports other AHD formats at 720p-25Hz/30Hz and 1080p-25Hz/30Hz, 4MP-25Hz/30Hz, 5MP-12.5Hz/20Hz and SD standards, NTSC-M/PAL.

The PT57 output is a 10-bit digital composite video signal suitable for driving a digital to analogue converter (see below).
