The PT54 IP core is sold with a single use, multiple unit license (i.e. you can use it for one project, but sell as many units of that project as you like). The IP core is supplied as RTL compliant Verilog source code for use in all FPGAs or ASICs. There is a one off payment for the IP core with no further payments required. Design-in support is included for 6 months (it can be extended). On-site support is also available.

The PT54 IP core decodes composite digital format video from an ADC into a 30-bit YCbCr output together with synchronising pulses and a recovered line-locked clock.

The PT54 supports the decoding of NTSC-M/PAL, aCVi, as well as AHD HD formats at 720p-25Hz/30Hz, 960p/30Hz and 1080p-25Hz/30Hz, 4MP-25Hz/30Hz and 5MP-12.5Hz/20Hz resolutions.
