SM09A: NTSC / PAL/ aCVi Video Test Pattern generator

SM09A is a broadcast quality NTSC/PAL/aCVi video test pattern generator.

aCVi is a SingMai proprietary video interface for transmitting HD video over long distances of coaxial or twisted pair cable.

SM09A generates 24 different patterns (including a zone plate) for 16 SD and HD video standards. White noise and hum may be added to the video output. It is compatible with the SM20 controller module, allowing more comprehensive control of its features.

SM09D is easy to operate, affordable and compact, and can run on its own internal batteries for up to 4 hours.

It is perfect for the evaluation and measurement of SD and HD video products and systems in industries such as security (CCTV), industrial inspection and broadcast TV.

SM09A video test pattern generator

Inputs: 5VDC power (100-260VAC adaptor supplied). Internal NiMh batteries allow up to 4 hours of continuous operation.

Dimensions: 120 x 78 x 27mm.

Outputs: CVBS, aCVi (BNC).

Standards: NTSC-M, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, aCVi - [720p-25/30/50/59.94/60Hz, 1080p-24/25/29.97/30Hz, 1080i-50/59.94/60Hz].

Patterns available include: 75%/100%/SMPTE Colour bars; 50% grey, 100% white, red, green, blue flat fields; 2T/30T and Pulse bar, Modulated ramp, 5 step linearity, 30MHz Multiburst, 30/15MHz luma/chroma sweep, Crosshatch, Bounce, Circular zone plate, CCIR-17/18/330/331, N7CMPF, N7CMBF.

VITS insertion (CVBS output).

Programmable amplitude white noise and hum may be added to the video output.

Monitoring of the aCVi data interface.
