PT51 is an aCVi/NTSC/PAL/960H compatible decoder/receiver IP core.

aCVi is a video interface for transmitting HD video over long distances of coaxial or twisted pair cable.

aCVi has applications in:

  • CCTV/security.
  • Industrial inspection.
  • Remote imaging.
  • Subsea imaging, ROV vehicles.
  • Pipeline inspection.
  • Automobiles.

aCVi currently supports 720p-25/30/50/59/60Hz, 1080p-24/25/29/30Hz and 1080i-50/59/60Hz video standards and all aCVi encoders and decoders also support NTSC-M/PAL and NTSC-960H/PAL-960H standards.

PT51 is an aCVi/NTSC/PAL/960H compatible decoder IP core.

  • Accepts 720p-25/30/50/59/60Hz, 1080p-24/25/29/30Hz, 1080i-50/59/60Hz, NTSC-M, PAL, NTSC-960H and PAL-960H video standards in digital CVBS format.
  • 30MHz luma bandwidth and 7.5MHz chroma bandwidth (4:1:1 format) for aCVi.
  • Adaptive line comb for NTSC/PAL operation: 5.5MHz luma bandwidth, 4:2:2 format.
  • Fully specified for transmission of >500m (coaxial) and >300m (twisted pair) of aCVi format.
  • Automatic cable length equalisation (aCVi).
